Description

Principal Engineer

Looking for a Principal level engineer who has at least 5 years of experience in the design of fluid handling products.

Responsibilities: 

  • Design new ceramic fixtures products in a team based, stage gate development process.
  • Lead production and investigation of field failure problems. 
  • Lead design through engineering analysis, statistical methodologies, design of experiments techniques, fluid dynamics simulation and calculations, and other engineering methodologies.
  • You will be responsible in setting design standards across the organization.
  • Lead, mentor, and coach other engineers 

Qualifications:

  • BS degree and 10+ years of experience in engineering, advanced degrees can offset years of experience.
  • 5-7 years of experience in the design of fluid handling products (ex: pneumatic valves, pumps, regulators, filtration systems, process filtration, etc).
  • Proven leadership skills
  • Experience with fluid dynamics including relevant experience with CFD simulation is required. Flow 3D preferred.
  • Ability to predict hydraulic performance of fluid handling products.
  • Experience with Creo, FEA, mold flow analysis, and proficiency in DFM concepts are required.
  • A working knowledge of the concepts of V&V of designs. 
  • Strong understanding of fluid mechanics.
