Description

The DAVIS Companies is supporting an Electronic Manufacturing Service provider located in the Northern suburbs of Minneapolis/St Paul area.

Job Requirement of Process Engineer:

  • Proficiency with computer software programs (Microsoft products, AutoCAD), Aegis preferred, and placement programming skills.
  • At least 3 years’ experience in the Electronics Manufacturing Services or Contract Manufacturing field required.
  • Working knowledge of IPC-A-600, IPC-A-610, and J-STD-001.
  • Good organizational and communication skills.

Responsibilities of Process Engineer:

  • Implementation and maintenance of quality processes and other advanced manufacturing methodologies and systems.
  • Work closely with production and support teams to manage work flow.
  • Develop and support new manufacturing processes.
  • Defines and provides accurate process documentation including work instructions and control plans using Aegis Manufacturing Software.
  • Provides technical support to the production floor as required for critical process and product lines.
  • Drive continuous improvement in labor costs through waste reduction, production efficiency, and operation improvements.
  • Provides ongoing product and process improvements to meet quality, continuous improvement, and production goals.
  • Supports the activities required to implement and maintain the company’s strategic objectives along with continuous improvement activities or cost reduction activities.
