Description

Project Manager (Remote)
An industry leader in the integration of fire protection, detection management, and design are currently looking to add a Project Manager to join their growing team. This is a direct hire opportunity, open to considering candidates nationwide as they are open to candidates working remotely. 

Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for coordinating and controlling new installations and upgrades of commercial fire suppression systems
  • Read, analyze and interpret contract documents, including all disciplines of construction drawings and specifications
  • Develops BOM and specs equipment and materials to be used for projects
  • Oversees on site-technicians, site managers, and contractors
  • Review and modify fire sprinkler designs with AutoCAD
  • Provide lists for fabrication and coordinate between the trades
  • Acquiring proper permits for projects

Qualifications:

  • Minimum 5 years project management experience with at least 3 years of fire suppression experience
  • NICET certification preferred
  • Familiarity with NFPA codes and state fire codes
  • Must be familiar with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, etc.) to create, work with and modify spreadsheets and databases
  • Experience with AutoCAD, PM software, ERP systems
  • Experience quoting jobs, specifying equipment and parts, and reviewing construction and submittal drawings
  • Experience with permitting, and managing contractors
  • Previous project management experience of $750,000 or greater is required
  • Must be willing to travel as required to project field locations
