Description

Senior Quality Manager

We are looking for a hands on Senior Quality Manager that enjoys root cause analysis and developing relationships with Contract manufacturers. 

 

Responsibilities:

  • New Product Introduction (NPI)
    • Collaborate with Engineering/R&D to introduce New Products to Manufacturing
    • Work with Contract Manufacturers (CMs) to perform Design for Manufacturing (DFM) and Design for Test (DFT) Reviews, Failure Mode Effects Analysis (FMEA) and Value Engineering
    • Collaborate with Engineering to improve Manufacturing Process, Test Strategy and Materials Selection
    • Develop project management plans (milestones, tasks, schedules) to support NPI
    • Structure and validate design and manufacturing documentation (BOM, CAD Files, Specs.)
  • Manufacturing Engineering & Quality
    • Select and qualify suppliers and Contract Manufactures and their processes
    • Collaborate with Suppliers and Contract Manufacturers to
      • Complete audits / resolve quality problems / confirm capacity analysis
      • Monitor and improve assembly and test yields
    • Define and engage contract development services (e.g. Mfg test programming)
    • Analyze field data to determine failure patterns and root cause and work with Engineering and CMs to implement corrective actions, ensuring increased quality throughout the system

Requirements:

  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills (written and verbal) including ability to present both internally and externally
  • Strong analytical skills to see patterns in data and diagnose root cause analysis
  • Comprehensive knowledge of product development life cycle, risk assessment, and validation protocols
  • In-depth knowledge of the concepts of engineering change control, statistical techniques, and IQ validation protocols
  • Familiarity with Six Sigma
  • Significant Electronics Manufacturing Experience (Individual and Management)
  • Degree in Engineering Discipline (ME, EE, CE, IE)
