Sr. Controls Engineer


  • Take a leading role in the design and development of new products for the company, identifying and documenting qualification-testing requirements.
  • Working with Engineering groups and the customer to create customer specific software and documentation.
  • Working with internal Engineering teams to resolve Customer problems and communicate solutions and corrective actions effectively 
  • Sustaining engineering on existing platforms 
  • Creating and releasing product support documentation including customer specific product data sheets white papers, and application notes 


  • Proficiency in PC/PLC control system programming (Beckhoff TC3 preferred).
  • Strong knowledge of IEC61131-3 standard. Extensive programming experience with Structured Text, Ladder Diagram and Function Block Diagram languages.
  • Strong HMI (Human Machine Interface) programming experience using C# in Microsoft Visual Studio 
  • Extensive knowledge and programming experience of servo and stepper motion, industrial robots.
  • Knowledge of PID loops and temperature process control concepts.
  • Strong experience in Safety Logic design for industrial machinery.


  • A minimum of a BS or BA in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical   Engineering, or related degree.   
  • Related Design, product, test, support, system, and/or applications engineering experience 
  • Strong capability in electrical schematic design. (DraftSight and SolidWorks Electrical experience preferred). Knowledge of Electrical Standards for Industrial Machinery (NFPA-79, SEMI S22-0709).
  • Experience with machine vision is a strong plus (Cognex Vision Pro preferred).
