Description

Sr. Software Engineer

We are looking for a Sr. Software Engineer to join a growing team dedicated to the development and coding of complex electro-mechanical measuring equipment. The Sr. Software Engineer will be responsible for the development of code used in measuring devices.  The software engineer will work in project teams and will provide code compliant to regulatory guidance for the development of software.  

Responsibilities:

  • Execute full software development life cycle (SDLC)
  • Develop flowcharts, layouts and documentation to identify requirements and solutions
  • Write well-designed, testable code
  • Produce specifications and determine operational feasibility
  • Integrate software components into a fully functional software system
  • Participate in the development of software verification plans and quality assurance procedures
  • Troubleshoot, debug and upgrade existing systems

Requirements:

  • BSc degree in Computer Science, Engineering or relevant field
  • 7+ years’ experience programming in a clinical chemistry device or medical device industry with knowledge of FDA approval process for Medical Device Software required.
  • Programming Languages C++, C required. C# and Visual Basic preferred.
  • Proficiency in TCP/IP, OPC and RTOS development required.
  • Experience working with IOT (Internet of Things) and GIT (Source control) preferred.
  • Experience using Microsoft XL, PowerPoint and Word preferred.
  • Proficiency in software engineering tools (Debuggers, oscilloscope, I2C, SPI, etc.)
