Maintenance Technician

We are currently seeking a E&I / Maintenance Technician for our client in the Greater Atlanta area. The Maintenance Technician will be responsible for performing routine maintenance, preventative maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of electrical, mechanical, and pneumatic equipment. This is a direct hire role.


  • Ensures operation of machinery and electro-mechanical equipment by completing preventive maintenance requirements on mechanical and electrical conveyor systems, and production machines; following diagrams, sketches, operations manuals, manufacturer's instructions, and engineering specifications.
  • Ability to relay wires, size the wires and perform relocation of equipment. 
  • Ability to troubleshoot control circuitry/panels to the component level, electrical systems, and ability to perform other maintenance functions as required.
  • Must be able to use knowledge of electrical systems to track down and isolate mechanical problems such as proximity sensors, solenoids, and switches.
  • Ability to troubleshoot mechanical problems on robotics, conveyors, pneumatics, packaging equipment, and testing for mechanical malfunction.
  • Under minimum supervision, install, trouble shoot, maintain repairs, or rebuild complicated machine tools, systems and special purpose machines and plant equipment.
  • Under minimum supervision, install, trouble shoot, and repair electrical systems and devices. Includes plant electrical up to 480V systems, PLC Troubleshooting (no programming)
  • Will do some building maintenance including conduit, sheetrock, etc., but 80% of the day will be maintenance on the production machines and 50% of that time will be spent fixing setup-related issues


  • Must be able to perform installations and troubleshoot and repair
  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
  • 5 years related manufacturing experience 
  • Knowledge of Electrical, Mechanics, Pneumatics, and PLCs

2nd Shift: 3 PM - 11:30 PM
3rd Shift:  11 PM - 7:30 AM
Salary: starts at $25.00/hr and can go up depending on experience.
