Field Service Technician
We are currently seeking a Field Service Technician in the Gainesville, GA area. The Field Service Technician will deliver hands-on support at customer sites. The Field Service Technician will contribute to the installation, maintenance and repair on customers mechanical and electrical systems in the poultry processing industry.

Responsibilities of the Field Service Technician

  • Perform installation of automated poultry processing equipment
  • Perform preventative maintenance on hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical systems
  • Provide customer solutions through PLC troubleshooting & diagnostics
  • Deliver hands-on support, service and training at customer site; occasionally at short notice
  • Perform rebuilds and assembly of equipment at manufacturing plant
  • Provide training on automated systems
  • Extensive travel mostly in North America, and occasional international travel (4-5 trips per year)

Requirements of the Field Service Technician

  • Associate Degree or Certification in Electrical Industrial is desired
  • 3+ years’ experience in Field Service
  • 3+ years' experience in PLC (Allen Bradley) troubleshooting and repair
  • Experience in Poultry Processing industry is desired
  • Travel: 70%
  • Knowledge of automated machinery operations and conveyors in an industrial environment
  • Ability to read mechanical drawings and possess assembly and maintenance skills
  • Valid driver’s license and passport
