Responsible for painting and assembling coring machines, equipment and their subassemblies, following blueprints and other written and verbal specifications by performing the following duties.

Heavy Industrial Machine Assembler
Responsible for painting and assembling coring machines, equipment and their subassemblies, following blueprints and other written and verbal specifications by performing the following duties.
- Component and machine painting and assembly.
- Utilizing overhead crane to maneuvering large work pieces as needed for assembly.
- Responsible for surface preparation prior to painting.
- Apply primer and paint in a spray booth environment.
- Drill and tap holes to mount small components
- Align and fasten machine components.
- Align and install moving parts, such as shafts, levers, or bearings for proper function.
- Assemble basic hydraulic fittings such as pipes, hoses and valves.
- Fabrication of hydraulic hose assemblies by cutting and crimping hose and fittings.
- Testing or assisting testing of completed products.
- Coordinate workflow with Machine Shop and Fabrication Departments.
- Perform production tasks according to operating procedures and manufacturing guidelines.
- Perform routine building maintenance duties as needed.
- Maintains good housekeeping practices at workstation and surrounding area.
- Other duties as assigned
Requirements
- Experience with mechanical assembly and basic mechanic’s tools.
- Experience with industrial painting, using a paint booth and respirator.
- 5+ year related experience
- Welding and Fabricating experience a plus.
- High school diploma, or equivalent.
