Description

We are looking for an Inventory Control Specialist to join our team on a direct hire basis! Great company, first shift and lots of opportunity to grow!

The Inventory Control Specialist is responsible for maintaining the warehouse in an orderly fashion, processing internal material transactions, and ensuring inventory accuracy. This position includes putting parts in the proper storage area, pulling jobs for production, disbursing inventory to point-of-use locations and performing regular cycle counts. This position will work as part of a team to implement Continuous Improvement objectives as well as streamlining the material flow of the business.

Essential Functions:

  • Maintaining the warehouse in an organized fashion so material is easily located.
  • Refill point-of-use materials from bulk storage.
  • Process all inventory transactions related to material movement within the warehouse.
  • Perform regular cycle counts to maintain inventory accuracy.
  • Investigate material variances to determine the root cause.
  • Release jobs to production as required.
  • Assist other departments as needed with inventory related questions.

Experience Requirements:

  • 1-3 years job related experienced preferred.
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Excel.
  • Experience with Inventory Control is a plus.
