Lead CNC Milling Operator (2nd Shift)

Job Type: Full-time

Salary: $16.00 to $22.00 /hour

Shift: 4:30pm-2:00am

Job Summary: 

Set-up and operate CNC vertical milling machines. Mount fixtures, follow work instructions, tool layout sheet and program instructions, produce first piece and submit for QC acceptance.

  • Perform offsets as required, replace tooling/change inserts as required to maintain size and finish as needed. Train operators for running production.
  • Maintain part quality by inspecting parts using standard measuring equipment.
  • Strong knowledge of G & M codes, and experienced in surface milling, drilling, tapping, and boring close tolerances ( >.0005”) on precision parts made from various grades of aluminum alloys, carbon and stainless steels, and other materials.

LEAD CNC Milling Operator Requirements:

  • MUST be perform G-Code offsets and tool changes without supervision
  • Working knowledge and familiarity with various inserts and tools
