The DAVIS Companies has partnered with a leading Development and Distribution company to identify a Machine Technician to join their team! Training will be on 1st shift for 6 months and rotating shift thereafter. 

Job Description / Requirements of the Machine Maintenance Technician:

• Troubleshoot equipment malfunctions by determining source of issue by observing equipment in operation, talking to operators, and using test equipment
• Adjust or replace defective parts, such as motors, pumps, circuit boards, using hand and power tools
• Work with vendors as necessary to procure replacement parts or aid in troubleshooting
• Maintain system logs and manuals to document testing and operation of equipment
• Provide support and recommendations for new and existing equipment with regard to installation, upgrades, and enhancements
• Clean the machinery as needed
• Maintain safe and clean working environment by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations

Requirements of the Machine Maintenance Technician:

• Two year technical degree in related field including courses dealing with high voltage and Electrical equipment
• 2+ years of related experience preferred 
• Must have experience with 480V 3 phase power electricity
• Must have PLC Programming experience
• Must have experience with AC/DC motor repair
