Manufacturing Engineer is responsible for all technical activities related to product manufacturing, both internally and at external suppliers and contract manufacturers. Responsible for the development of manufacturing processes and producing efficient, effective, and high-quality CNC programs to cut form or machine parts according to the specifications set by the customer.


  • Verify that all customer design information and data meets and supports original design intent.
  • Develop a manufacturing process to effectively cut, machine, form, weld and inspect a quality part according to the customer's design and intent
  • Build accurate geometric CAD models
  • Provide high quality and efficient CNC lathe 3 & 5 axis mill/turning center, laser and press brake programs to the applicable department using appropriate CAD/CAM software tools
  • Work with Engineering staff and Sales department to provide estimates of programming time and manufacturing time for new jobs
  • Will plan for and/or develop all tooling such as jigs, fixtures, special tools and similar items
  • Create, update, and maintain production documentation, including but not limited to CAD models, parts drawings, assembly drawings, bill of materials, work instructions, test methods, protocols, and reports. 


  • BS Degree or 5+ Years of related experience
  • Proficient in CAD/CAM; Solidworks, Mastercam, and/or Trutops Boost
  • Ability to read design prints, understanding of GD&T and familiarization of inspection equipment and gauges
