Description

Materials and Production Planner

We are currently seeking a Materials and Production Planner for a global manufacturing company located in the North Metro Atlanta area.

Responsibilities

  • Issue, post, and close manufacturing orders and part requisitions in the ERP system as directed by the master production schedule
  • Report findings cycle counting audits and process month-end close out to maintain inventory level accuracy
  • Coordinate inbound deliveries with Supply Chain and Production
  • Recommend and implement process improvements in material flow and processing to increase efficiency
  • Assist Supply Chain in purchase order placement and follow up
  • Report metrics as required by management for inventory management
  • Maintain/improve warehouse, Kanban, production raw material and assembly accuracy.
  • Communicate between Receiving, Warehousing, Manufacturing and Logistics.

Qualifications

  • Required AS degree in supply chain or inventory management
  • Minimum 3-5 years’ materials experience in manufacturing environment
  • Strong analytical, problem solving and organizational skills
  • Previous ERP experience (SAP preferably) with strong focus in MRP and MPS
  • Skilled in using Microsoft Office applications
  • Strong time management and communication skills

 

General Comments

First shift hours: 7:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.

Pay: $50K-$60K yearly depending on qualifications.

Benefits: 4 weeks paid vacation and full benefits to start
