The DAVIS Companies has a new full-time position for a Director of Operations in our Suwanee, GA office.

The Director of Operations is responsible for the overall growth, profitability and management of their respective business units.  The Director of Operations will work with respective Sales and Recruiting Managers to implement best practices and growth initiatives for their teams. This position is designed to help lead, train, and develop successful DAVIS Employees and their long-term goals through culture, profitability and growth objectives. 

Position Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for establishing and communicating clear expectations around DAVIS best practices for building relationships with customers and candidates to successfully grow their division.
  • Reviews activities, costs, operations, and division forecast to determine progress toward DAVIS goals and objectives.
  • Collaborates with Vice President and Executive team to review and amend goals and objectives as needed for the business unit.
  • Evaluates current processes and trainings to successfully accomplish business goals and objectives.
  • Monitors and analyzes costs and prepares budget for the divisions P&L.
  • Represents the company at major client presentations to develop new business opportunities as needed.
  • Conducting weekly 1:1’s with direct Managers and assisting with daily requisition meetings as needed to support sales and recruitment teams.
  • Responsible for partnering with internal Human Resources Team for the recruitment of prospective employees and staff development initiatives.
  • Ensures Division compliance with quality management through system policies and procedures for their division and verifies work for accuracy of output.
  • Leading both Sales and Recruiting managers in their division to complete performance management tracking, evaluations, and goal achievement on a weekly, monthly and quarterly basis.
  • Monitoring and ensuring successful Mentorship of new Employees in their division.
  • Fully understands the recruitment and sales cycle and is able to drive goal setting around individual and team metrics and KPI’s.
  • Utilizing internal reporting tools (Power BI) to assist, train, and identify areas of improvement for teams through data analytics.
  • Assisting with pipelining candidates and clients for their teams to meet and/or exceed recruitment and sales goals.

Position Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s Degree Preferred
  • 7+ years of Staffing experience, including 5+ years of Management Experience (Recruitment/Sales) preferred
  • Exceptional leadership abilities
  • Creativity, Decisiveness, Conviction, Discretion and Vision for successful Management
  • Excellent organizational experience
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
  • Strong interpersonal skills
  • Experience with ATS Systems (Bullhorn) is a plus
