Description

Position Summary:

Creates, drives and implements activities related to promoting, branding and marketing The Davis Companies. The Marketing Specialist is responsible for managing our entire social media program, our weekly blog and support internal content marketing needs. Will work closely with internal stakeholders and be responsive and service oriented to all requests.

Essential Functions:

The candidate may be required to perform all or a combination of the following Essential functions as determined by business necessity:

• Maintain, manage, grow and measure our social media presence.
• Create and manage weekly blog content
• Maintain and manage “image library” and associated costs and usage levels
• Website maintenance and development involvement
• Manage regular mailing projects for sales team
• Involved with marketing budget review
• Manage full cycle of some collateral buys, quantities and processes (magnets, mouse pads etc)
• Generate new ideas for content, layouts, branding initiatives
• Manage business card orders and processes
• Maintain tracking forms for postage, proposals, color copy’s and collateral inventory levels
• Proactively get involved in continuing education/webinars/breakfast meetings
• Takes overall responsibility for personal growth, goal achievement and effectiveness in this position
• Complies with established Quality Management System Policies and Procedures; verifies work for accuracy to ensure quality of output.

Employees are required to follow any other job-related instructions and to perform any other job-related duties requested by their supervisor. All employees are expected to interact courteously and tactfully with managers, co-workers, vendors and associates to promote our positive Davis Culture, productive communication and teamwork.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree preferred
  • 1+ years Marketing experience preferred
  • Graphic Design Skills, Graphic Software skills, Photoshop, Illustrator required
  • Creativity, Decisiveness, Convictions, Discretion, Vision.
  • Video/Podcast skills a plus
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
  • Strong interpersonal skills
