Description

Our client located in Lincoln/Lexington MA is looking for an Office Manager to join their team. This is a direct placement position where ideally the candidate would have experience in supporting an office as well as accrual-based accounting and experience in ERP systems such as Sage. 

Job Responsibilities 

 Office Manager is responsible for preparing, maintaining all accounting records and financial statements and manage all general office manager responsibilities. This position addresses a multitude of accounting activities including general ledger preparation, month end closing, assistance with yearend audit preparation and the support of budget and forecast activities.  

Responsibilities: 

  • Cash management and bank reconciliations  
  • Ensure an accurate and timely monthly, quarterly, and year?end close  
  • Process customer invoices (A/R) and vendor payments (A/P)  
  • Vendor relations 
  • Support all budgeting and forecasting activities  
  • Assist with year-end close with external auditors 
  • Assist in the implementation and ongoing management of a new ERP system – Sage Intacct   
  • Respond to inquiries from CEO, CFO, and subsidiary Managing Directors regarding financial  results, ad hoc reports, and special reporting 
  • Manage all HR functions including weekly payroll for US office; employee benefits 
  • Responsible for Office Administration including office administrative support functions  including IT and systems management 

Qualifications and Skills: 

  •  
  • Minimum 3-5 years accounting experience   
  • Proficient in MS Excel, Word, Power Point 
  • Experience working with cloud based applications such as Box, Skype, Office 365 
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills 
  • Ability to work closely with senior management team 
  • Ability to multi-task, work under pressure and meet deadlines  
  • Experience with Quickbooks a plus
