Sr Accountant

Our client in Norcross, Ga has an exciting opportunity for a Senior Accountant to support our Global Operations. The Senior Accountant should be a capable of taking a leadership role on special projects and possessing a positive attitude, proactive mindset and high attention to detail. This role, which reports to the Corporate Controller, will have significant visibility to senior management and requires the ability to effectively collaborate both inside and outside the financial function in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities:

• Day-to-day financial accounting, reporting and account analysis
• Oversight and review of financial activities at foreign locations
• Interaction with our tax advisors, bankers, insurers and external auditors
• ERP system implementation
• Special projects 
• Technical accounting support

 
Qualifications:

• BS Degree in Accounting, CPA preferred but not required
• 2+ years’ Big Four public accounting experience, plus 1-2 years of industry experience preferably in a  manufacturing environment
• Strong PC (Excel, Access, PowerPoint) and business system skills
• Strong knowledge of GAAP
• Proven ability to work well in a cross-functional environment
• Proven ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment
• Proven ability to communicate clearly and concisely across all levels of the organization
• Strong analytical skills

Shift: 

• 1st Monday-Friday 8AM-5PM
