The DAVIS Companies is hiring for a new IT Manager in Marlborough, MA.  This is a direct hire position at a growing company!

The IT Manager will be responsible for maintaining all systems including internet, software, hardware, phones, and for developing specific reports using SQL.  This role will also ensure the security and integrity of all data stored on equipment in-house and cloud services.


  • Diagnosing and managing defective equipment issues.
  • Systems administration and configuration changes.
  • Planning for acquisition of new equipment and software.
  • Maintain inventory of equipment and software.
  • Establish and maintain vendor relations for proprietary systems.
  • Provides training to staff for effective use of information and communications systems.
  • Complies with established Quality Management System Policies and Procedures; verifies work for accuracy to ensure quality output.
  • Manage a staff of two part-time systems administrators
  • Develop extensive database reports using SQL
  • Set up new employees with systems access
  • Manage entire helpdesk function
  • Utilize SQL to build custom reports for Applicant Tracking System and back office finance and reporting software
  • Utilize Sharepoint software
  • Other IT functions as needed


  • Associates Degree in Computer Information Systems required, Bachelors Degree preferred
  • 5+ years experience in related position
  • Working knowledge of SQL databases
  • Familiarity with Bullhorn and 1Staff software a plus
  • Knowledge of the staffing industry a plus
  • Demonstrated knowledge of computer hardware, networks, telephone systems, security and other associated technologies
  • Solid business acumen and ability to work with stakeholders at all levels of the organization
  • Ability to manage multiple projects
  • Ability to work in fast paced environment
  • Ability to quickly resolve escalated technical issues
