Vision  Engineer

We are looking for a Vision Engineer to bring state of the art development in vision-based navigation and increase the perception capabilities of future robotic systems. Our office is located right near Kendall Square. IF you want to work on the latest in Unmanned Aerial Vehicles in a fast-paced, well-funded, collaborative start-up, you would make a great fit!

Requirements for Vision Engineer 

  • The candidate must be eager to learn new technologies and stay on top of the latest trends. The candidate must have a familiarity with latest active and passive ranging sensors, perception techniques and vision processing algorithms. Hands on experience integrating commercial off the shelf hardware (processor board, camera, IMU, GPS, radio transceivers) is strongly desired.
  • US CITIZENSHIP REQUIRED or the ability to obtain a U.S. Security Clearance
  • Ability to implement algorithmic approaches in Matlab,and will also support the transition of the developed algorithms to real-time embedded systems
  • Familiarity with OpenCV
  • Experience implementing SLAAM, MSCKF or equivalent vision navigation approach
  • Experience fusing other sensor modalities with vision (Structured light, TOF, LIDAR, IMU, Radar, etc)
  • Experience with real-time embedded SW
  • Experience with version control systems Git and Subversion
  • Experience with Agile development (Scrum or Kanban)
  • MS or PhD in Electrical Engineering or equivalent degree, or significant professional experience in Vision Navigation and Estimation
