Description

Great opportunity for a Product Surveillance Complaints Coordinator to join this top medical device company, to be part of their new product growth team. The Product Surveillance Complaints Coordinator position will be part of developing parts for the medical industry based in Plymouth, MN. Get in on the ground floor of this new team/department with this long-term contract job.

Responsibilities:
The Complaints Coordinator I will provide support to the process of timely, high quality and consistent product complaints management, including appropriate identification and response to risks, adverse event reporting decisions, and collection and documentation of complaints. Actively participate in training and professional development. Manage the global complaints email in-box, and route and action emails. Work with Product Surveillance team to identify prioritization of work flow. Provide assistance to Product Surveillance Coordinators in coordinating work flows in the global complaints database. Receive product samples; document complaint file with sample receipt information; and route product samples. Communicate with customers, Affiliates and internal departments regarding product complaints and document the complaint file. Set up product complaints in the global complaints database to ensure complaints are managed according to regulatory requirements and customer expectations. Other duties as assigned, according to the changing needs of the business. Engage others, promote, and participate in Environmental, Health, and Safety initiatives, focusing on continuous improvement. This position is required to assure compliance of Company operations to all applicable laws, regulations and standards, good business practices and company documented procedures (including knowledge of all standards, government occupational health and environmental regulations and statutes related to the site).

Qualifications:

High school diploma is required. University Degree (Associate degree) or technical equivalent preferred. Prior complaint handling experience a plus. Prefer at least 1 year of general office experience. Knowledge of and expertise in the use of personal computers for spreadsheets (Excel), communication and scheduling (Outlook), word processing (Word), and various databases (Oracle, SharePoint). Ability to use standard office equipment such as, but not limited to, copier, fax, scanner, telephone, and headset. Excellent customer relation skills. Accurate and professional verbal and written communication skills.
