Description

A fast-growing medical device company in the northern Twin Cities metro is looking to add an Engineer I to their growing team. This is a contract-to-hire opportunity with the organization and is a great step into the medical device world. 

Perform as part of a R&D new product development team focusing on infusion systems. Responsibilities include creating prototypes, performing characterization testing, deriving subsystem requirements, coordinating testing with lab technicians, performing formal verification including writing and executing protocols and reports. 

Qualifications of the Engineer I:

  • Scientific University Degree (BS degree) required. 4 year engineering degree or similar.
  • 0-3 years experience.
  • Frequent use and application of technical standards, principles, theories, concepts and techniques.
  • Ability to critically review and interpret technical documentation.
  • Moderate problem solving and analytical ability.
  • Ability to clearly convey ideas and concepts verbally and in writing.
  • Ability to handle multiple priorities and to meet key deadlines under pressure through effective time management skills.
  • Ability to work accurately with attention to detail
