Description

Office Assistant
The DAVIS Company has an immediate opening for an Administrative Assistant to work with one of our busy manufacturing clients in the Kennesaw market.

This is an entry level role, and our client is looking for someone who can work in a fast paced environment and is willing to raise their hand to help with various admin duties. This individual will be responsible for greeting and assisting visitors and managing day to day office needs. This is a temp to perm position.

Schedule: Monday – Friday, 8:00 AM – 4:00 PM

Pay Rate: $15+ per hour (depending on your experience)

Job Type: Full Time, Contract to Hire

Responsibilities:

  • Serve as the “face” of the company by greeting and assisting visitors.
  • Answer inbound telephone calls, directing the calls as needed.
  • Filing, Scanning
  • Assist Quoting Department with paperwork functions.
  • Assist Quality Control with paperwork functions.
  • Assist Purchasing with quoting information via vendors.
  • Perform other office tasks.


Qualifications

  • Previous experience in office administration or other related fields
  • Ability to prioritize and multitask.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Strong organizational skills
  • Must have working knowledge of Microsoft Office products (Outlook, Excel, Word) and high comfort level to safely use internet.
