Quality Supervisor

Our client in the Alpharetta, GA area is a Quality Supervisor to lead a team of mechanical inspectors of electronic devices. The ideal candidate will be able to understand 1st article inspection, CMM programing and help perform pass/fail testing and maintain accurate and detailed records of all products and testing with regard to failures, corrective actions and root cause analysis.

Hours: Mon.-Fri. 7:30am- 4:00pm

Pay rate: 62k.


  • In-coming, First Article, Outgoing inspections
  • Managing/Supervising a team of 3/5 inspectors.
  • Programming and operation of CMM (Brown and Sharp), or ability and willingness to learn.
  • Knowledge of advance lean and continuous improvement initiatives (Six Sigma/ Lean Mfg.)
  • Experience and understanding of GD&T, metrology, blueprint reading.
  • Using calipers, gauges and other handheld inspection and metrology devices; perform Dimensional testing and visual inspections.
  • Conduct experiments, collect data to support findings, and support implementation of corrective actions within impacted functional area (i.e., production, quality, etc.)
  • Knowledge of ERP systems, picklist, production documents, safety rules, inventory controls etc.


  • Bachelor’s Degree preferred
  • 2+ years managing/supervising.
  • 5+ years in a manufacturing environment
  • Experience with various hand/inspection tools {micrometers, digital calipers, gauges, oscilloscopes, temperature, and humidity chamber}
  • Proficient in MS Office Suite, especially Word and Excel
