A fast-growing biomedical company in the southern Twin Cities metro has an opening on their team for a long-term contract Associate Program Manager. This position supports coordination, rollout and ownership of the Web-based portfolio management system to support the Chemistry Immunoassay Business Unit. This position reports to the Portfolio Management System Tool owner and may be remote.

Key Accountabilities of the Associate Program Manager include:

  • Support reported customer requests for the Portfolio KIT (Accolade) portfolio management tool.
  • Investigate failure modes and errors to drive to root cause.
  • Resolve and communicate issues to customers.
  • Maintain customer user guides and training materials Assist in creating improvements to current material based on user feedback.
  • Create new user surveys to obtain user feedback to monitor user satisfaction.
  • Communicate software upgrades, improvements, etc. to user base.
  • Effectively communicate and maintain visual tools for project tracking and management.
  • Establish and monitor use of tools for project tracking and management.
  • Applies project management processes to achieve the highest performance and value-added effort.
  • Works effectively with all team members, stakeholders and supervisor.
  • Effectively employs company Business System (DBS) tools and concepts to maximize efficiency and quality.

Key Skills and Competencies of the Associate Program Manager include::

  • Web- based PPM software experience is a significant bonus.
  • Bachelor's degree with 5 plus years of relevant experience or a Master’s degree with 3 years of relevant experience.
  • Work experience should include 1-2 years project management leading multi-disciplined projects.
  • Readily accepts responsibility and accountability for project success and key decisions
