Description

Warehouse Supervisor
Responsibilities:
  •  Directs and coordinates activities of personnel and leads tasks essential to the continual operation of the warehouse by performing the duties aligned with this position  
  • This position is required to assure compliance of Company operations to all applicable laws, regulations and standards, good business practices and company documented procedures (including knowledge of all standards, government occupational health and environmental regulations and statutes related to the site).
  •  Perform annual employee performance reviews. 
  • Help facilitate enhancements to Warehouse operations. 
  • Train new employees.
  • Overall supervision of all Warehouse activities.
  • Provide safe work environment for department employees. 
  • Ensure all shipping manifest stations are up to date via UPS, FedEx & Oracle.
  • Enter Ship/Confirms daily in conjunction with Procurement.
  •  Ensure inventory locations are up to date and operating efficiently.
  •  Review and verify accuracy of work inventory.
  •  Monthly reporting on shipping/receiving as a KPI (key performance indicator).
  •  Train and develop subordinates to perform all necessary activities of their positions, develop and provide performance measurement criteria, and take corrective action to address any personnel issues when necessary.
  •  Work closely with Customer service and RA/QA to ensure that all required services are provided in a timely and cost effective manner.
  •  Directly supervise activities of Warehouse Staff.
  •  Oversee all aspects of warehouse operations, including shipping, receiving and general inventory control. Planning and Decision Making:
  •  Report to Manager weekly on work performance, projects, KPI’s, etc.
  •  Review the work load on various intervals and assign individuals to various tasks as needed to ensure productivity is maximized and all shipping deadlines are met. Impact and Scope:
  •  Prevention of picking/packing/shipping errors results in high quality of service.
  •  This position has a tremendous financial impact on inventory and will have an overall negative financial impact if errors occur.
  •  Provide accurate and high quality of service to customer orders.
Qualifications:
  • Technical Knowledge and Skills:
  •  Computer knowledge (MS Office, Oracle preferred)Skills.
  •  3 years previous supervisory experience in a warehouse environment.
  •  Forklift Operation Certification.
  •  High School Diploma or Equivalent.
  •  Secondary Education (High School) required.
  •  Education requirements can be obtained through an educational institution or gained through equivalent work experience. Abilities:
  •  Strong attention to detail and problem solving skills.
  •  Ability to work well with others and interact cross- departmentally.
  •  Strong verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills.
  •  Highly organized , able to prioritize and able to handle multiple tasks.
  •  Ability to lead team by control, direction and monitoring of daily work assignments.
Schedule:- 4pm to 3:30am
