Lowell, MA
6-9 Month Contract

As part of the Sales Finance Group, this position will support the Financial Management, Metric Tracking, and Analysis of the Sales and Business Development organizations. Responsibilities will include the following:

Business Unit Support:

  • Support newly acquired business units in the development of budget and forecast inputs and analysis of actual results and related inputs into our Host Analytics tool
  • Prepare monthly & quarterly Business Unit-specific reporting packages
  • Develop and track comprehensive Key Performance Indicators (KPI’s )
  • Research and analyze cost center / P&L variances to Forecast and Budget
  • Support the monthly financial close process by reviewing expenses throughout the close cycle to ensure the proper classification and accrual treatment
  • Develop and communicate financial models, operational analysis, reporting and key business trends by combining multiple data sources, as required
  • Complete special projects, as requested

Other Reporting and Analysis:

  • Generate operational analysis, reporting and trends for the Sales organization
  • Prepare various expense-management related reporting
  • Complete special projects, as requested

Candidate Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business or related discipline
  • Minimum 3-5 years of related experience
  • Proficiency in Excel
  • Experience with Pivot tables a plus
  • Ability to work with highly confidential and sensitive data
  • Strong attention to detail and analytical/?problem solving skills
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to handle multiple priorities
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to thrive in a team-oriented environment
  • Prior Accounting experience and understanding of Accounting information systems preferred
