Manufacturing Engineer
A well-known company has an immediate opening on their team for a Manufacturing Engineer. This is a contract opportunity located near Peoria, IL and includes a ton of overtime potential. The Manufacturing Engineer will be responsible for establishing, implementing, and design production and manufacturing including line layout, process flow, and automation requirements.

•    Development and troubleshooting of manufacturing equipment including: industrial robots, cameras, and lasers, programmable torque drivers, and common industrial controls: PLC’s, palm buttons, pneumatic controls, etc.
•    Develops and updates process documentation and operator work instructions
•    Conducts direct labor studies and establishes standards on operations, set up, workstation layout, and material flow
•    Reviews preliminary product designs, making recommendations to reduce costs and improve manufacturing and quality on new or existing products
•    Develops detailed, complete, and accurate capital equipment studies and makes appropriate recommendations for capital expenditures
•    Defines tooling and fixturing required in the manufacturing process
•    Processes purchase requisitions and records as required to maintain accurate department and capital budgets
•    Analyzes manufacturing methods using Structured Problem-Solving techniques.  
•    Provides solution to problems following the Corrective and Preventative Action process.

•    B.S. In Engineering
•    3+ years of Manufacturing Engineering experience
•    Project Management Skills
•    Automation Implementation Experience
•    Automotive Manufacturing Experience (preferably OEM or Tier 1)
•    Plant and Process Flow Layout Design Experience
