Are you looking for an Senior Test Tech opportunity where you can be part of a growing industry? Well regarded company needs a dynamic Senior Test Technician to join a growing team.  Their location is just north of the metro area.

  • Job Description: Technician/Mechanic (Lab Test)
  • Conduct mechanical testing on development/concept vehicle components and systems using various lab test equipment. Gather information for structural analysis, design, and validation purposes by testing with current procedures. Assist in development of new test fixtures and procedures. Perform maintenance on test equipment.

Essential duties and responsibilities:

  • Conduct Testing as requested by customer
  • Operation of lab test equipment for required testing
  • Diligently follow established engineering procedures and technical specification documents
  • Ensure that work area is well maintained and meets OSHA and 5S requirements
  • Meet tight deadlines
  • Keep good records and write test reports for tests conducted
  • Manage multiple projects
  • Maintain strict confidentiality
  • Work Safely in all aspects of testing and maintenance following internal policies and OSHA requirements at all times


  • Prefer 2-year degree/certificate in a relevant field of study (automotive, small engines, powersports, mechanical, engineering, electronics, fluid power, automation, aviation, defense, etc.) or 5 years of experience in equivalent position
  • 3+ years of experience in related field preferred
  • Familiar with general hand tools
  • Strong mechanical aptitude
  • Strong written and verbal communication
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office programs such as Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
  • Attention to detail
  • Self-motivated self-starter, willing to work overtime as needed
  • Team Player (intra/extra organizational)

Nice to Haves:

  • Familiar with test lab environment (MTS Hydraulic, UD Shaker, Pneumatic, PLC)
  • Familiar with data recorder equipment (SoMat eDaq)
  • General Fabrication Skills (Machining/Welding)
  • Forklift operation experience
  • Electronics background (DC Circuits)
  • Power sports experience
  • Provide own technician level tools
