Top biotech company in Milford, MA area is currently seeking a Contract Talent Acquisition Specialist to support their organization.  The TA Specialist will play a critical role in ensuring that our Global Products organization achieves goals this year. 


  • Own and manage the sourcing & screening processes for open positions within assigned business areas (Average of ~25 reqs per recruiter at any given time.) 
  • Partnering with hiring manager to aid them in utilizing our applicant tracking system as well as full-cycle recruiting support where needed
  • Acquire a thorough understanding of job responsibilities for required competencies, skills, and knowledge required of successful applicants
  • Identify and implement sourcing strategies based upon the job position by creatively conducting research and/or utilizing a multitude of resources to assure a talent pipeline
  • Schedule and pre-screen candidates through phone interviews and present qualified candidates to hiring managers based on the provided job description and culture fit
  • Utilize applicant tracking system to maintain candidate data and post job openings
  • Ensure proper documentation meets compliance of the recruitment process
  • Passionate advocate for candidate experience with a continuous improvement mindset
  • Develop an ongoing and diverse pipeline using research, networking, etc. for prospective candidates
  • Collaborate with the TA team to build effective sourcing and assessment strategies to achieve hiring results
  • Provide expertise on the employment market, trends and innovative recruiting techniques to ensure Waters’ competitiveness in hiring


  • 5+ years of recruiting experience 
  • Consultative approach and solid understanding of commercial functions
  • Understanding of Software and Engineering organizations within biotechnology or scientific related industries preferred
  • Experience in screening/interviewing candidates
  • Ability to continually seek new sourcing options and develop creative approaches for sourcing and delivering candidates
  • Successful track record of achieving targets such as deadlines and recruiting goals and other KPIs as defined
  • Self-starter with a great work ethic and collaborative mentality
  • Demonstrated ability to tell the company's story in a way that speaks to a job seeker's motivation, career goals, and interests
