Position Summary: 

We are seeking a qualified full time Industrial Engineer to work our client's Engineering team to help develop and improve manufacturing processes, create time standards, and collect and analyze data within their dynamic and rapidly growing organization. 
The candidate will work in a fast paced and constantly changing manufacturing environment and should be comfortable with a variety of job functions, communicating daily with all department supervisors and operators, and working in both an office and manufacturing environment. 
Job Duties:

  • Document new and existing product assembly processes
  • Conduct time studies and suggest improvement based on data analysis & observation
  • Assist in new facility layout and design
  • Improve existing department design and product flow
  • Assist in capacity planning and product cost reduction
  • Standardize parts and processes throughout the facility
  • Communicate with department supervisors, operators, & engineers to gain insight into existing systems and to identify areas of improvement
  • Use Lean manufacturing, Six Sigma, and 5S principles to reduce waste and increase efficiency 


  • BS in Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or other Quality related degree
  • 0-5 years of work experience
  • Extensive computer skills including MS Excel, MS office, & statistical tools (such as SAS JMP)
  • Ability to balance multiple projects at once, multi-task
  • Ability to initiate and facilitate communication with supervisors, operators, & engineers
  • Thorough understanding of lean manufacturing and manufacturing process improvement


  • Prior work experience in manufacturing environment is highly preferred
  • Simulation software experience and CAD are a plus (Autocad and/or PRO-E preferred)
  • Yellow Belt and/or Green Belt certifications are a plus
