  • Schedule the primary placement and rotation for all positions in the department   
  • Adhere to Good Manufacturing Practices following all sanitation and process procedures and guidelines, including understanding the chemicals used during the sanitation process   
  • Successfully provide sanitation training to new and existing employees as needed   
  • Participate in department meetings and conduct daily team meetings prior to start of shift   
  • Cross train in other departments as needed, including learning how all equipment operates and is dismantled for cleaning
  •  Familiar with general cleaning requirements for industrial/facility infrastructures   
  • Make communication suggestions for improving safety, quality, and efficiency   
  • Report any equipment concerns to the appropriate staff member   
  • Record and document all necessary information in a complete and concise manner   
  • Build and adjust scheduling to a master cleaning schedule plan   
  • Will need to understand the production schedule and urgency of any production related issues   
  • Additional duties may be assigned  


  • High School Diploma or GED  
  • Previous experience leading others  
  • Experience in regulated environments FDA, OSHA, BRC, SQF or other agencies or certifications strongly preferred   

· Experience using a CMMS system or other MES, ERP systems

  • Trained in the following areas: LOTO, Chemical Safety, Quality control systems  
  • Trained in concentrations, titrations, of chemicals/cleaning agents  
  • Must be able to control inventory stock levels      
  • Good organizational and time management skills, and attention to detail   
  • A good team player with the ability to follow direction from others   
  • Must follow the company values, policies, and procedures   
  • Good computer skills and an understanding of basic math  
  • Must be able to communicate utilizing actions plans, (visual) direct communications verbally or written
