Responsibilities:

• Hands on involvement throughout the project from proposal stage to the final implementation. I.e, technical sales support, budget management, controls design and documentation, supplier selection and management, quality assurance, installation oversight, and commissioning support.
• Create a controls package submittal and as-installed documentation.
• Work with various vendors and integrators, machine design/build firms to ensure completion of project
• Provide remote technical support when needed, field techs and customers, in the area of machine controls/programming for automation and equipment processes
• Knowledge in NEC NFPA 70, ETL, UL, OSHA, and CSA codes/requirements

Qualifications:

• BS in Engineering (Electrical, Computer Science, Mechatronics ideally)
• 5+ years’ experience managing the product life cycle of complex automated equipment
• Exposure to VFD's, temperature/flow/pressure controllers / sensors, servo motors, etc.
• Programming and modification of PLC code - (both ladder logic and structured text)
• AutoCAD and/or AutoCAD Electrical experience
• Travel required - Less than 25-30%
