Supplier Quality Manager:
Immediate opening for a Supplier Quality Manager working for a electronic device manufacturer in the SW Atlanta area. This individual will be responsible for leading a team of Supplier QA engineers in the automotive industry, ensuring existing production parts meet requirements and working with suppliers to correct any issues. 

The qualities that will make someone successful in this role are:
1. Quick to Action:
  • The main responsibility of this role is to keep production  moving and working through issues as quickly as possible
  • Keeping the quality standard set in place by the company
2. Defect Troubleshooting
  • A strong Root Cause Analysis background and the ability to work with others to solve any problem
  •  Troubleshooting any defect issues with internal and external resources
  •  Perform RCA with Suppliers to identify cause of issues
3. Managing Supplier Quality Assurance Team
  • Leading and directing the team 
  • Team mentality and getting the people engaged (50%management/50% Leadership)
  • Hands on leader 
  • Engineering Degree or Technical Management and 5+ of experience in Quality Assurance Management
  • Supplier quality assurance management experience is a plus, but not required.
  • High level of the Quality Problem Solving experience & technical knowledge is required.  Presentation of corrective action examples may be asked during the interview for the qualified candidates.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks / assignments in the very fast-paced manufacturing environment is a daily practice, and it is required.
  • Logical decision-making ability and effective communication skills to implement actions in a challenging and cross-functional team environment at both internal and suppliers are required.
  • Ability to create technical documentation with computer applications such as Microsoft word, excel, power-point, access dBase
