Diesel Technician 

We are currently looking for a Diesel Technician in Lilburn, GA. The Diesel Technician will be working with small and large motors both diesel and gas for regular scheduled maintenance. This could be a direct hire or temp to hire opportunity depending on interview and skill level. This is a 1st shift position with an excellent local company who is growing steadily. 

The pay ranges from $20 to $25 hourly or 40-50K salary based on interview and skill level.

Perform routine maintenance on machinery or automotive vehicles
Build and assemble motors or mechanical components according to requirements (Diesel or gas trucks)
Troubleshoot reported problems and resolve them in a timely manner
Analyze and diagnose mechanical issues
Create a plan of action for all repairs
Follow checklists and protocols while conducting repairs
Regularly clean and maintain tools and equipment
Ensure a safe and organized work environment
Keep machinery in good working condition

Experience with diesel trucks preferred
Proven mechanical acuity and basic math skills
Familiarity with common mechanic’s tools, service, and diagnostic equipment
Ability to work in physically demanding positions, stand on one’s feet for prolonged periods, and lift up to 50 pounds at a time
Attention to detail
Clear communicator
Efficient worker
