Description

Facilities Maintenance Tech

Our client in Kennesaw, Ga has an immediate opening for a Facilities Maintenance Tech. The Facilities Maintenance Tech is responsible for inspecting, maintaining, and repairing mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and HVAC systems as well as our fleet of installation vehicles to ensure optimal operating results. This is a Direct Hire opportunity. 

RESPONSIBILITIES:                                                                                                        
  • Conduct routine inspections of premises and equipment
  • Perform preventative maintenance
  • Handle basic repairs and maintenance
  • Oversee contractors when subcontracted repairs are necessary
  • Diagnose mechanical issues and correct them
  • Repair machines, equipment, structures, and/or vehicles as necessary
  • Inspect and maintain company vehicles including keeping an up-to-date maintenance log
  • Maintain adequate parts inventory and order items as necessary
  • Ensure compliance with safety and security protocols

QUALIFICATIONS    
  • Maintenance experience of 3+ years
  • Working knowledge of electrical, mechanical, and HVAC systems
  • Experience inspecting and repairing air compressor equipment
  • Ability to check blueprints, repair manuals, or parts catalogs, as necessary.
  • Experience with precision measuring instruments or electronic testing devices
  • Proven electrical and wiring experience
  • Strong organizational and follow up skills
  • Strong attention to detail including in written format
  • Strong time management skill
  • Prolonged periods standing and walking throughout facilities.
  • Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds at times.
  • Must be able to bend, lift, stretch, climb, and crawl to maintain equipment and buildings.
  • Must be able to perform work in a variety of weather conditions.

SHIFT:
  • 1st Monday-Friday
