Under the supervision of the Warehouse Director, this position will be responsible for managing the inventory team’s daily and weekly tasks to ensure the accuracy of our perpetual inventory as well as all necessary tasks to ensure product quality which includes compiling records and reports concerned with ordering, receiving, storing.


  • Perform inventory count and cycle counting with the ability to analyze discrepancies and communicate to management any corrective action needed
  • Reconcile inventory with accuracy and maintain in an organized fashion
  • Research customer issues including, but not limited to shortages, overages and damages and recommend appropriate response
  • Set up items and slots to ensure maximum efficiency for shipping and receiving
  • Monitor warehouse management system (WMS System) for variances
  • Utilize necessary technology (e.g., RF gun) to select product
  • Effectively operate within warehouse management system (WMS System)
  • Audit pick/reserve slots and keep rotation of product accurate, as needed
  • Report accurate daily counts
  • Perform reconciliation reporting
  • Perform and report daily damage tracking by product
  • Research and resolve any discrepancies in reported against actual inventory stock
  • Investigate inventory discrepancies to determine root causes of inventory issues and implement corrective actions and/or coordinate the joint efforts of responsible parties as needed
  • Perform other duties as assigned by management, within scope and ability



  • High School diploma or equivalent; Associates degree preferred
  • 3-5 years’ experience managing in a warehouse required
  • 3-5 years’ inventory management experience in a distribution center preferred
  • Ability to read and write effectively in English
  • Ability to lift 40 to 50 cases
  • Ability to work in a cooler and freezer
  • Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to internal/external customers
  • Prior stand-up and reach forklift experience required


  • Strong computer skills specifically in Microsoft Office, intermediate level of Microsoft Excel required
  • Ability to communicate clearly and concisely to team and across different departments of the business
  • Must be highly organized, pay close attention to details and pro-actively follow up
  • Critical-thinker, problem-solver
  • Ability to add, subtract multiply and divide in all units of measurements
  • Possess excellent leadership skills
  • Must be flexible to work all hours as needed to ensure the warehouse operations are running as expected
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced and high intensity work environment
  • Ability to read and understand Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs)
  • Ability to pass a pre-employment drug test and random drug screenings
  • Understand and abide by all safety regulations as well as policies and procedure set forth by company.
