Quality Technician

Are you an experienced Quality Technician looking for a great new opportunity? We have a direct hire opportunity for you to join a dynamic Quality Assurance Team that you will not want to miss!

You will be responsible for sustaining the Quality Management system, assuring the consistency and quality of products, process and services through effective production oversight and support for a well regarded manufacturer in Southborough, Ma.

Shift: Monday – Friday

What the Quality Technician is responsible for:

  • Coordinating and maintaining calibration of tools and equipment for all in-house and field technicians with external calibration supplier and drive Calibration OOT.
  • Maintain Device History Records for the purpose of product release.
  • Support global MRB process by driving and maintaining local NCP compliance. Ensure accuracy of inventory within area of responsibility.
  • Filing and maintenance of Customer Files.
  • Prepare daily and monthly compliance reports for quality, operations, and customer support.
  • Participate and assist in preparation and completion of internal and or third-party audits.
  • Perform inspections of modules in house and at supplier sites.
  • Provide support for Global QA for any tasks relating to the quality system and regulatory requirements.
  • Assist QA with CAPA/SCAR Root Cause analysis of failures.

What you will need to be successful

  • Experience with Calibration of Tools and Equipment.
  • Experience performing first and second party audits.
  • Medical Device experience a plus.
  • Good computer skills (MS Office applications)..
  • ISO 13485 Internal Auditing training advantageous.
